Cindy Hammons

School Principal

About Mrs. Hammons – Mrs. Hammons hails from Alabama. She attended Concordia University (aka Concordia Teachers College) and earned degrees in social services and education. After attending Concordia, she began her teaching ministry in Georgia and has since been in Tennessee, Indiana, Wisconsin, Utah, and Missouri. She is grateful to God for He has brought her family and her to St. Paul, Leavenworth.

My husband, Bill, is a vehicle damage appraiser/adjuster. We have a daughter, Alyssa, who is a certified clinical medical assistant. Our family is rounded out by our cat, Kitty Kat, and dog, Sherman.

What do you like to do in your spare time?  In my spare time I like to go on “family field trips”, read devotional books, and cook.

What St. Paul Lutheran means to you?  St. Paul means family, fellow believers in Christ who work collectively and consistently to be in God’s Word and be active in ministry whether it be the day school ministry, Paul’s Buffet, 7th Street Feast, or other community involvement. It is also close to Ft. Leavenworth which affords us the ability to take advantage of privileges my husband earned with his 20 years of service in the U. S. Army.

The best part about following Jesus is……… that He loves me always and unconditionally (Romans 3:23-24). When I repent, He forgives my sins (1 John 1:5). He has a purpose for my life (Psalm 138:8). And, He prepares a place for me in heaven (John 14:3).
