About Mrs. Martini – She and her husband, Vince, are members of Cross Points Church – and parents to son, Alex.
What do you like to do in your spare time? I love to watch movies, read Christian romance novels, and play mostly classical music on my piano. My husband and I love having friends and family over to play games and watch KC Chiefs football!
What does St. Paul Lutheran mean to you? I am so thankful to be working at St. Paul Lutheran School because I am able to talk about Jesus all-day long! Nothing pleases me more than teaching with a Biblical integration and worldview mindset. The Lord Jesus made everything and is intimately involved in our lives and learning; therefore, I endeavor to help my students realize that learning school subjects and knowing about the Lord are not to be separate things.
In addition, St. Paul Lutheran is a cohesive unit of beautiful families and staff. It is a tight-knit group. I have never taught at a school where the church community is such an integral part of the school. I believe the students and their families realize that they receive a well-rounded education here at St. Paul Lutheran.
The best part about following Jesus is… knowing that He holds my hand and never lets go. He is patient and loving and oh so supportive. He is beautiful beyond description and has given me an awesome gift of working here at this blessed school. My two favorite scriptures are Psalm 121 and Philippians 1:6: “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” God uses everything for our good and builds us up in Him. The Lord Jesus is so gracious to me for allowing me to serve Him in my calling as a teacher.
